The Lumen Prize, celebrated in Cardiff, Wales, grants the best digitally-created artworks in the world. This year, more than 700 artworks from 45 countries have participated. The selection and review have been performed by an eminent International Selection Committee of academics, art experts and gallery owners who selected the top 50 works for the Lumen Online Gallery. The artwork Vision number 07 from spanish digital artist Dario Lanza got into the Top 12 of the very best artworks, announced last october the 8th in Cardiff, Wales. The 50 best artworks start a global tour in October 2013 at ArcadeCardiff, Queens Arcade, Cardiff Wales. The show will open in NYIT Gallery 61, 16 W61st, New York City on November 1 and run to November 9th. The show will move to The Space in Hollywood Road, Hong Kong in February and it’s London show will take place in The Triangle Space at Chelsea School of Art and Design, Pimlico, London in March. The global tour will finish at Treberfydd House, where the Lumen Prize was founded, in Powys, Wales in July. For more information, visit the Lumen Prize website.
